Gumasa beach sarangani province philippines

GUMASA--HUMANDA!!!!
-Ate molit

After a month long planning for our attack visit at Glan, Gumasa Beach party..
The moment finally arrived and we never dared missing a second on marveling the FUN!!!

White Haven Beach resort is located in Sarangani. It is an hour travel from General Santos City. They hold a yearly beach party as one of the activities of Monato Festival. People from different sectors crowd the place. A lot of cool people wore their beach attires and some just appear severely drunk. As for me... I just enjoyed my friend's company. Fireworks display was one of my most loved moments. Bugging in my mind is how beautiful that was, at the same time, how expensive it was. The beach of Gumasa I think is one of the best beaches I have ever been. The sand is so white cannot help but to swim with awe... And the place has really felt the intensity of the party!!!

By morning...we also checked out the known expensive resort-> Isla Parilla. Took some pretty shots with their wonderful landscapes.

Hey.. here is a photoslide of the fun experience we had at Sarangani... check it out! More to come!

PS. Thanks RJ for letting us stay in your place and touring us at the MARVELOUS places in Sarangani!!:D

Going through the ugliest scenario 052609: love and sad poems

Hope you can comprehend what I mean.. I made this poem and sketch when I was confronted by a surprising news upon arriving home. thanks for reading.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Going through the ugliest scenario 052609

Random chats, jittery and shatters
Galloping in my head, but my tongue is just staggered
Melting breeze and cold blue ducts
Halting the rush of the tunneled sacs

Falling to nothingness and hiding to the dusk
Sucked by pain and insurmountable gash
Surrendering the present, the depot of reality
Rebuffing the truth just to taper the agony

Valuables are ready, hung out from the dark
Melody of sighs conquering the silence of the lark
Selfish ends dominating, puppeteers of idiosyncrasy
Merits for no one, pure victims of immaturity

Steps were getting further
Lengthened distance in every hour
I crumpled my soul when it reached goodbyes
A dewdrop fell down from my clueless eyes

POISONOUS SNAKE: Pet Society for REAL!!!

These past few days,I am so into PET SOCIETY. This is a game where you can customize your pet and it's house. What made me deeply hooked into it is the aspect where you can innovate it's home on how you want things to turn out.

This night, immediately after arriving home, I played PET SOCIETY. Everything was so NORMAL. Until one moment my ate Donna started screaming in the garage. She flew from the kitchen to the garage approximately within 5 seconds. When I turned my head to the right, I saw my sister climbing over the table yelling at Carla (my other sister) to climb up as well. Well, that didn't easily moved me, so I reprimanded her to go down because the glass table might break and asked, "NAUNSA KA??? (What happened to you?)". I didn't catch up her words because her throat was filled with jitters. But practical as I am, I safely secured myself over a chair after noticing extreme fear in her. I repeated my question...and then she said.."ATE TAM KITA KO UG BITIN!!! dako kaayo..dako kaayo (Ate Tam, I saw a snake, it was way too large)". Her facials and gestures were enough for me, and that led me to shout... DAGAN!!!! (RUN OUTSIDE THE HOUSE)..WAAAAAAAAAAAAA....All the four of us (carla, princess, donna and I) went outside the house. Ate Donna was even jumping weirdly (literally) shocked with the situation she is in. She saw the snake from her very own eyes. She was crying so loud on the street. While me and Carla tried comforting her... (I don't have snake phobia). Our neighbors started flocking the street wondering what's the commotion.

My kuya A, The brave hero of the day, went out of the house calmly, with a metal tube in his hand and asked... "Asa man ang BITIN"(Where's the snake?).And then we responded... "Sa kusina man to kuya... (it is in the kitchen..), And then he asked for assistance from his childhood friend, Kuya Archie, to help him kill the snake. They went back inside the house with some weapons in their hands. LOL. After few more minutes, my parents arrived and my dad immediately followed the boys inside the house. Everyone was scared yet patiently waiting outside. The biggest concern was the possibility of the creature to be lost in sight and will crawl to us, or to any home perhaps, while we are sleeping. I can sense the tension of my sisters and of the neighbors too, most especially of ate donna's. tictactictac...

Minutes after,I tried to take a peek of the activities inside the house. I saw kuya coming towards the gate. It was not clear initially, but when he opened the spring door, I saw the big snake helplessly lying in the metal bar...not only that...It was bleeding and was cut into two. That made my courage stumble and forced me to run away from it while shouting...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....

In just a snap, I was across the street far away from the dead snake. Kuya and papa then placed the dead creature in the middle of the street. People were crowding it...and when I got my courage back, I took a chance to see it closer. Yes..It was really dead, morbidly killed shall we say... and it looked like this: (BAWAL SA KUMAKAIN)

They say that this is a POISONOUS SNAKE. Named in our dialect as UDTO-UDTO

After people got over the situation, one by one they went back to their houses bringing with them calm minds. As for me... I cant wait to play PET SOCIETY AGAIN!!!

But for sure, the event that happened earlier this day will be the most exciting PET SOCIETY EXPERIENCE in real life that I could ever have! *wink*

who came up with the idea of the teddy bear

My Teddy Bear Collection:

Some of us, if not all, have a precious friend hugging us while we are sleeping. Our confidante, our comforter and our friend, our TEDDY BEARS.

They are these cute stuffed toy that come in different sizes and presentation. As you can see in my collection, I have white, couple of brown, green, yellow, silver, checkered, some are dressed and some are just wearing it's fur. Some are purely for display while others are useful in my room. For now... I got 36 teddy bears and will still be counting. Having this HUGE fascination with Teddy bears, that made me think...

who came up with the idea of the teddy bear?

Don't you know that teddy bears are with us not so long ago? In late 1902, teddy bears synchronously appeared in two different countries: Germany and United states. But each has it's own story to tell how the teddy bear was produced and became a fad.

In the United States, base on their tradition stories, their teddy bears started in a CARTOON. The cartoon was drawn by Clifford Berryman and titled "Drawing the Line in Mississippi". It is portraying Theodore Roosevelt refusing to shoot a baby bear.

According to tradition, Roosevelt is an avid hunter who frequently visits Mississippi to hunt bears. But there is this one day where the hunting was so poor, that someone finally captured a bear and invited Roosevelt to shoot. But Roosevelt refused on firing a shot to this poor helpless bear. And that inspired Berryman to draw a cartoon with Roosevelt refusing to shoot an innocent young bear. This cartoon appeared in The Washington Post on November 16, 1902 and on some panel of cartoons drawn by the artist. That then became an immediate sensation and inspired Morris and Rose Michtom of Brooklyn, New York, to make a stuffed toy bear in honor of the president's actions. They named this sweet, innocent, upright bear ( like the bear in Berryman's cartoon) - TEDDY'S BEAR.

In Germany, far away across the ocean, Richard Steiff, a former art student, was working for his aunt, Margarete Steiff, in her stuffed toy business. He loves visiting the zoo and is fond of sketching the bear cubs he sees. The Steiff company then designed a stuffed bear toy base on Richard's designs. The design was showing humped back and long snout bear, looked more like a real bear cub.

Even both of these manufacturers sprang on the same year, neither knew of each other's existence until March 1903, at the Leipzig Toy Fair, Steiff introduced its first bear—Baer 55PB. An American buyer bought 3000 teddy bears to Steiff because of the Teddy Bear fever happening in America at that time.

Cool history right? So tonight when you go to sleep and start hugging your cute little bear, imagine how history values the teddy bear that is with you.:D

Charice Pempengco - Note to God - Sings for Oprah

Charice Pempengco, the singing sensation, is back in Oprah Winfrey's show last May 18 2009 to sing her latest debut single: "NOTE TO GOD".

Be moved by how she sings this heart-warming song.:D

SONG LYRICS OF Charice Pempengco - Note to God:

Note to God lyrics - Charice
If I wrote a note to God
I would speak whats in my soul
I'd ask for all the hate to be swept away,
For love to overflow
If I wrote a note to God
I'd pour my heart out on each page
I'd ask for war to end
For peace to mend this world
I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God
I would say what on my mind
I'd ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world
Until these times
If I wrote a note to God
I'd say please help us find our way
End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts
And I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

No, no no no
We can't do this on our own
So

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God

Slumdog Millionaire Child Actor--> HOMELESS

The World's most famous film last 2008, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, has achieved great heights in the media industry after receiving EIGHT OSCAR AWARDS.

The story was about a boy from the slums who was destined to be a Millionaire. When he joined the known WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE in Mumbai, each question was relative to his life story.

But did you know that two of the child actors in the film are suffering from poverty in real life?

The older brother of JAMAL in the film was played by the 11-year old child named Azharuddin Ismail. Her younger sister Rubina Ali, 9 years old, was portraying the child version love interest of Jamal named Latika.

After the global fame Slumdog Millionaire achieved, the family of the child talent was promised to be rehoused and be kept out from the slums. But then this remained a promise until their house shattered after the Mumbai authorities tore it down in preparation for the upcoming Monsoon Rains.

With this disaster happening to their family, Azharuddin's mother, Shamim Ismail uttered,"They came and destroyed the house when my son was sleeping. Now we don't have any place to go so we're sitting here right now with our belongings. I hope someone from the government will help us." She added, "We were promised that we will get a government flat but we have still not got anything yet."

Despite the ugly scenario happening to Azhar, he remained playful and innocent. He was seen playing with chickens when television crews were watching.

See how JUSTICE was not served in this simple situation. Stardom is not everything...

Especially in India!

America's NEXT TOP MODEL Cycle 12- ALLISON HARVARD

Wanna be on top?

The famous ANTM cycle 12 has now ended. The battle to the title was between Allison Harvard and Teyona Anderson..:P It was a neck to neck competition. No one really knows who will be the next grand winner. But my personal favorite is ALLISON: 20 years old, an artist from New Orleans, La. (CW).

I am really blown away when she starts posing on photoshoots. She looks so innocent but there is still a touch of seduction. See her other photos

AUDITION VIDEO:

Allison's interview after announcement of the winner

On Being in the Top Three

Allison: "I certainly knew down to the bottom three that Teyona would be there. When we were about to walk out, I told Teyona, 'Don't worry.' I had a feeling [she was going to win]."

On Their Futures

Allison: "Nous Model Management offered a contract, or offered to sign me and Fo [Porter]. But, I haven't actually done anything yet."

On Paulina Porizkova's Departure

Allison: "I didn't see it coming. She is a such a vibrant and eccentric personality, and the best part about it is that is exactly how she is off camera. She's really witty, and she's really funny. I didn't get to see enough of her to make any judgment call on ego."

GOGOGO!!! Allison!

The MEET UP

The most awaited gathering of the ECLICK team has happened (Well not literally, since our most loved Ate Raquel was not around.:( tsk3). We did not let that change our mood for the event... Enthusiasm conquered the moment and made it unforgettable.

It was last Tuesday, May 12, 2009, 8:00am to be exact, the good looking web dev and designers from hubport came to see us to show respect after postponing my birthday invitation to them 2 days ago. Well, the planning went spontaneous. I and Jestoni (The guy with the nice hair) decided to pursue the celebration after work.
Which means, all of us will look haggard. It was terribly not an ideal meet up, but who cares? btw, Thanks for Ate Aubrey for being with me even though she has her own plans for the day.

So the moment came. I opened the glass door of Dimsum (fronting JS Gaisano), and saw 4 lovely men on a table near the cashier...and then..I was amazed (CHAR).

Impressions are popping in my mind. Want to know? (Continue reading)

Let me start with

ARES: hmmmm...he is smart looking, tall and fun to talk to.

JESTONI: nice cool hair, was silent (but for sure in real life he is not), simple

JAMES: Very young, looks young and innocent, rarely talks, nice eyes!, seems tactful

PAULO: chikkadora, was secured of himself, funny

hehehhe..:P

Well, I definitely liked being with them... I think these are all good insights of who they are..And I am positive that these first impressions will last..:)

btw: As promised: here is the greatest make-over that could happen to JESTONI..
