THE DAY- KOOL LAB recognition day!

Pop and Lock, Isolation, B-boy, Tatting... these are few of the best moves flaunted at the Kool Lab Recognition Day today. Dancers have truly evolved, and its evolution has turned the craft from good to AMAZING!

The Groove Unlimited Dance Community (GUDC) of Davao City has been constantly materializing its vision of unifying dance crews here in Davao City, and in order to put it in reality, they have been organizing events for dance crews to be involved. One of which is the KOOL LAB project. This project was open to all interested dancers and newbies in dancing. Known and varied choreographers from the community who master different styles in dancing were given slots in the dance floor as facilitators of a class. Workshops usually happen on saturdays at Metro Lifestyle.

Today, these choreographers and their students are evaluated and those who deserve recognition will be rewarded. The event is hold at CAP AUDITORIUM. Dancers flock the venue minutes before it begins. Obvious as it is, the audience is excited on what will transpire in the program. The show consists of the following: dance battles of B-boy and Pop&Lock dancers, performances from selected GUDC crews, recognition and awarding of the best choreographers, most attended class, outstanding students, best attendance, best select group, etc. (LOL, our group got an award ^^,) The program ends by a photo shoot participated by all members.

GUDC is more than a collection of groups, it is a unified community portraying a vision slowly molded in reality. =)
