Directv vs. Dish : which is better?

I have been planning to have my own satellite in my house. After getting a good compensation in my new job, I think it is time that I repay my family anything I can help to improve the quality of our home. That led me the idea of getting our own satellite. Having greater amount of channels at home is truly an add on pleasure to my family.

Having no know-how about this, I looked for information by surfing the internet about satellites and any relevant topics. There I met the words-->Directv vs Dish. I have no clue what's the difference of these two until I skimmed to these facts: The Dish Network Promotions and DIRECTV Promotions are very similar in value. DISH Network and DIRECTV both have Digital Quality, Free Equipment and Free Installation.

Before paying anything, I should know which is more practical to purchase. To the present market Dish Network is making a big splash with diverse superior quality programming options and plenty of customizations facilities. Dish Network offers around 350 satellite TV channels to their standard programming package where as Direct TV offers only 250. The international channel count is also greater in Dish Network offering. They provide 21 international channels while Direct TV gives only 11. Direct TV broadcast around 70 high definition channels where as Dish Network offers 90 HD channels in total.
