Childhood Halloween Costume story

OMG!!! Halloween is fast approaching.

Everytime that day comes I always reminisce all my Halloween childhood experiences. I cannot forget the goose bumps I feel on Halloween midnight. I can't even dare close my eyes thinking that ghosts are just around me and are visiting me..BOO! I hate watching “Magandang Gabi Bayan”. They always show creepy stories about white ladies, dwarfs, giants... etc. that plants in my head giving me sleepless nights. That's too scary for a child even though all of us know that those were just people in Halloween costumes.

Well, Halloween is not just about getting scared. I still had a fun memory when I was 11 years old. I was invited into a trick or treat event hosted by the ICLUB where I was an active member. ICLUB is a children's group organized by The Sky Cable. They host monthly events where Sky Cable subscribers can join. I was known to the group since as young as 11, they see my potentials in dancing. So they keep on involving me to their activities. One activity was the trick or treat on Halloween day held at Ladislawa. People should wear their best Halloween costume. I had a special part in the event, they asked us to formulate a dance number to be presented in the middle of the program. Since I get to be infront of a crowd, I really planned my Halloween costume days before the event. I planned to wear a sexy vampire costume: cape, black boots, short skirt, black top...or a white lady costume. It looks like photos you see here. I love these costumes because it is not that difficult to wear around plus I get to be glamorous yet creepy at the same time. Since I get to only choose one, I pursued on wearing the vampire costume. I asked my mom to borrow from somewhere a cape while I will handle the others.

The day came... My mind is well set for the event! Surely, I will have the best night since aside from attending I will be dancing! I have dressed up for the event but uh-oh.. MOM? Where is my CAPE? T_T

And there I realized that SHE FORGOT to borrow one! Did I CRY? Of course!

So there I am instead of looking like a vampire.. I looked like a girl on a skirt and a black top with a boots! I didn't know what to actually call myself. LOL...

Even without my ideal costume... I still danced and had a wonderful night!

Learning experience: Don't rely to your mom instead look for the best Halloween costume. I found this website where they sell all sorts of Halloween costumes. It is so cool since they got creative costumes that would surely awe the others. What is cool in buying from their website is that they give FREE SHIPPING!! You can check out their page to know more! Looking forward to have a nice experience to the upcoming Halloween.. I 'll probably wear this costume!!!:D
