Scared Glee

When does being HAPPY become SCARY...?

Happiness has always been the desired END of a regular HUMAN BEING. There is no need for us to question why people wanted to be happy. And to reach that goal...everyone of us seek for it as much as we can or as long as we can.

There are different ways to gain happiness. And usually it depends on what people see as valuable in their lives. Some find happiness in financial stability, others through social acceptance, a few on public appreciation, and there are ones who find happiness through their FAITH in a supreme being. No matter what path you take to get it, still you end up to one thing...HAPPINESS...as evidenced by a chuckle, smile, laugh, tears, dancing...and many more...

All in all, being happy has never been considered as a negative feeling. It is what we want and what we need.

Just this evening I had a great nightout with a special friend. We watched a flick, run some errands, ate the best evening meal...and laughed with our stupid jokes. Basically, we both had fun while treasuring the presence of the one beside us. But within the laughing and giggling, I revealed to that person a truthful idea that halted him and made the glee fade in a snap. There I saw on my very own eyes where happiness flanks. Happiness has always been CONDITIONAL... and it is dependent on you and on the situation you are in. Happiness therefore is never perfect...though we box it as perfect.

In a reverted philosophy, this feeling could also be the scariest of all. Because it masks alot of truth. It is perceived as good, but in fact, it is not always like that. In some moments, it carries with it aches, burdens, hurts...in short...happy-ever-afters are fallacies.. It can be a nightmare even we anticipated fairy tales.

HOW?-----> That is when your happiness becomes a heartbreak for someone else...

Am I persuading you to BE NOT HAPPY? Well, totally not... I am just presenting that happiness could be TRICKY...so let's be careful and be sensitive.
